Meet Amanda Lee!

I’m Amanda Lee!

I'm the face behind Pure Lee Photography, and thank you for stopping by.
I live in Denver, Colorado with my husband in our tiny tiny apartment. My husband and I are serious readers, we love eating sushi, exploring new cities and country sides. We love living in Denver and I could be happy living here my whole life, BUT London is where my heart is still aching to be and it's my dream to live there one day.

I am always creatively inspired by something greater than you or me, something greater than this world. I am creatively filled up by God. I can't take credit for the photographs I take, because my creativity comes from a God who invented creativity and gifted it to us all. Creativity isn't something that a small select group of people have, I believe everyone was gifted with creativity, and everyone has their own story to tell. That being said, I tell stories for God and for the beauty of his creation. You have a story to tell. Whether that story is your company, your family, your child, your wedding, a book you wrote, an adventure you took, that product you're creating...whatever it is someone needs to help you tell that story. I'm here to help you do that, through my pictures and your help.

A huge component behind what I do as a wedding photographer is my passion for anti-trafficking efforts. You can read more about that here.
When I'm not busy with weddings, I'm photographing for ethical/fair trade companies. I've always been fascinated by the fashion industry, even as a child, and now as an adult I'm learning to love it in a new way. Shopping consciously in my mind isn't all just about cool brands and being fashionable, it's about making an impact in our society and in the lives of people and their families around the globe. Just as we educate ourselves on what we put in our bodies to eat, we should be just as mindful about what we are wearing, where it comes from and who made it.

Thank you for taking the time to read my bio page.
The things I wrote above are driving forces behind the photos I take and why I'm passionate about what I do.
